YMTSC-USA Team
USA Swimming is a National Governing Body for the sport of Swimming in the U.S. Membership is comprised of swimmers of every age and ablity, all the way up to the Olympic Team. Becoming a member of USA Swimming allows your swimmer to take the next step in the progression from YMCA of Middle TN Swim Club meets to USA sanctioned swim meets. USA Swimming is responsible for providing resouces to support athletes, coaches, and clubs to administer sactioned swim meets.
Memberships:
Premium Membership-$82 Good for one calendar year. September 1-December 31 of following year. Unlimited USA Swim meets.
Flex Membership-$30 Introductory Membership for athletes 12 years old and under, geared towards practice and participation with any USA Swimming Club. You have the ability to swim two USA swim meets per year.
Individual Seasonal Membership-$50 Good for 150 days USA Swimming meet participation up to and including LSC Championship meets, but not the Zone Championship level. Athlete can participate after 150 must upgrade to a Premium before expiration.
Swim Meet Fees are extra and are set by the hosting team.
In order to Register for USA Swimming you will email Tarra Feasel. Once we have your USA Swim registration number you will be able to start swimming in USA swim meets. You will be attending all Swim Meets with Tarra Feasel, or another USA Swimming Coach in our Association. Your Swim Coach will be able to attend, but unless they are USA certified they will not have a USA DECK PASS.
